Bio

Jeff BeasleyBorn and raised in Savannah, Georgia, Jeff began playing guitar at age 17 and was playing the local bars by age 18. His early bands were The Wanted, The Hint, No Quarter, Room 33, East Jones and Two Blue. After graduating from Georgia Southern University, Jeff moved to Athens, Georgia where he traded in his degree in marketing for a minimum wage job and a band called Blue Groove. After a succession of jam bands and a whole lot of fun, it was off to Nashville for a dose of the real world. Jeff worked his way up to be a featured writer at The Bluebird Café and obtained a five song publishing deal through Warner Chappell England. After seven years of soaking up what he could from the best songwriters, performing artists, producers and musicians in the world, Jeff moved back to Savannah to continue his pursuit of a career as a full time performer and songwriter.

Present Day
Today, Jeff has shifted his focus to performing as a one man band. He kicks a kick drum, hi-hat cymbals and snare drum while simultaneously singing and playing acoustic guitar, slide, and harmonica. He plays originals but also covers a bundle of popular songs too….with his own bluesy twist. When the show calls for it, he adds Mike Perry on upright bass and James Moody on sax to bring that “full band” sound. Thanks to Savannah’s booming tourist trade, since 2003 Jeff has averaged 250 shows per year which have provided him ample time on stage to fine tune his one man band act. With five fully produced band albums under his belt, he released his first live solo album in 2010 titled “Jeff Beasley One Man Band.”

“I’m still going to play in Savannah consistently, but I’m ready to show the world this low country sound I’ve been crafting for so many years,” Jeff says. If you want Jeff to come to your town, shoot him an email, he’d love to hear from you.
